This month, our Caught Looking Confident winner is Lissa L. Working in close proximity to The Bay Centre, Lissa states that she is a regular shopper and purchases most of her wardrobe here (including her fabulous peep toe heels and printed sheath dress from Hudson’s Bay downtown). We chose Lissa for her inevitable confidence in dressing. Defining her style as sophisticated, colourful and classic – Lissa embodies these style traits and mixes key wardrobe essentials with prints and colours of the season. Lissa’s trench coat visually acts as an anchor for her outfit, showcasing how a classic staple can add a neutral effect when complemented against patterns and prints.
The trench coat is an iconic coat to fashion house, Burberry. Invented in 1879 by Thomas Burberry, the trench coat is still a key 
fashion must-have to this day – reinventing itself each season on the Burberry runways. This spring 2016 runway season we saw the trench in delicate lace textiles as well as a boxy spin on the classic, but both keeping the elements and details that make this neutral a key component on dressing stylish for spring.
