It’s that time of year again, New York Fashion Week! As crowds gather at the Pavilion at Lincoln Center in NY, Zimmermann is about to show their spring 2015 collection. The mood of the show consists of a business woman attitude meets gypsy traveller. Collard shirts manipulated in sheer materials exposing one shoulder are paired with maxi skirts with ruffled hems and pastel lace.
Safari-style vests and jumpers are modernized with bow-tied waist belts and sheer blouses. A few versions of the loose-trench hit the runway showcasing that classics can be modernized into a seasons must have. Zimmermann plays with graphic shirts paired with gold pleated skirts that seemed to bring a wanderlust essence of movement to the runway. Clear indication of mystery and wonder comes to life through astrological illustrations.
The collection was all about flowing fabrics with subtle structure. Numerous one-piece looks were showcased in sheer polka dot and star patterns with flattering ruffle attributes. The accessorizing of the looks consisted of large hoop earrings that swayed back and forth with the models strut.
