MOSCHINO Spring/Summer 2014
With the uproar from FIFA currently bringing the World together, Jeremy Scott, Creative Director of MOSCHINO brings the uproar to the runway. Undeniable references to street art and colourful pop-art, Scott continues to stay true to the core of the Italian fashion house while indulging in letting his eccentric personality shine.
Soda can prints, manipulations of flags, smiley faces and a dominate use of dollar signs were presented on the crisp white linear runway. Top male model, Rob Evans walked the runway in a pop-art rainbow soda print bomber jacket with matching board shorts and a fanny pack. To no surprise MOSCHINO’s collection poked at another fashion house…this time it happened to be Chanel.
Known for referencing and mocking other labels in the past, MOSCHINO took the classic Chanel logo and changed it slightly. Jeremy Scott’s muse, Charlotte Free opened the show, which the model also did for Chanel’s resort collection. Chain belts, small quilted summer purses and long necklaces with the revised Chanel logo were seen in multiple looks.
