Today, the team behind Ombré, Tofino’s exciting new dining hotspot, announced the restaurant is officially open. Executive Chef David Provencal, longtime Sous Chef at Wolf in the Fog, and General Manager Eric Murdoch, seasoned restaurant manager with experience in LA and New York City, are the helm of Ombré. Located in the beloved former SoBo location at 311 Neill Street, Ombré promises to uphold the venue’s legacy while introducing a fresh culinary experience to Tofino. “Ombré is a celebration of Tofino’s natural beauty and rich culinary heritage. We aim to offer our guests an unforgettable dining experience with dishes that highlight the pure, natural flavours of our ingredients,” said Chef Provencal. “We are excited to welcome both locals and visitors to enjoy our seasonal small plates, curated wines, and innovative cocktails,” added Murdoch.
Ombré’s menu is a symphony of flavours and textures, thoughtfully divided into Small Plates, Vegetables, Pasta, and Large Plates. Each category features a diverse selection of dishes designed to delight and inspire.
