FlightHub™, a leading North American online travel agency, is delighted to introduce Fly to the Beautiful Game, a new website feature that helps fans book flights for the summer soccer tournament in North America by linking their preferred national team or host city directly to flight search results. The feature supports the discovery of affordable fares during a high-demand travel period and offers flexible date options tailored to the selected match.

How it works

Fans can plan their travel by selecting a preferred national team or host city through the Fly to the Beautiful Game feature. Once selected, FlightHub surfaces relevant flight options using its global flight inventory and real-time pricing, allowing users to compare routes and explore flexible travel dates around match schedules. The feature is available on both desktop and mobile, making it easy for fans to plan travel during what will be a high-demand period. 

Travellers can plan their departure from Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg and search for flights to host cities across North America, including: 

  • Canada: Toronto and Vancouver 
  • United States: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, East Rutherford, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Santa Clara 
  • Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey 

Travel Searches Are on the Rise 

Overall searches for host destinations are up 15%. While search interest increased across all individual cities, Monterrey (MTY) saw the strongest growth, with searches rising 155%, the highest increase among all destinations. By country, Mexican destinations experienced the largest surge in demand (+49%), followed by Canada (+19%) and the United States (+12%). 

These trends highlight growing traveller interest in international sporting locations and provide insight for those planning trips to the North American games, showing which host destinations are attracting the most attention.
