If you’ve been craving a little South Okanagan warmth (and a great glass of wine), Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country has a few events you’ll want on your calendar—starting with a one-night-only wine dinner in Victoria, followed by a spring lineup of food-forward festivals in Oliver that pair perfectly with patio season.
One Night Only in Victoria: Savour the Sun Wine Dinner
Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country is popping into Victoria for a special evening on Wednesday, February 25, hosted at Ugly Duckling Dining & Provisions. Expect a cozy, intimate night featuring Oliver Osoyoos wines matched with Chef Corbin Mathany’s seasonal multi-course menu, plus plenty of lively stories and insights from the winemakers themselves.
If you love events where the food is thoughtful, the pairings are dialed-in, and you actually get to meet the people behind the bottles—this is that kind of night.
Oliver, BC: Pig Out Festival
If you can make it to the South Okanagan this spring, Pig Out Festival is a full-day celebration of local flavour, wine, and community on Saturday, May 2 at Cellar Door & More in Oliver.
What to expect:
- Fresh seasonal dishes from local and guest chefs
- Award-winning wines
- Live music and entertainment
- Culinary demos
- An artisan market to browse between bites
Tickets: Adults $109 + tax, Youth $45, Kids under 12 free.
Start the Weekend Right: Pig Out Guest Chef Dinner
Want the elevated, sit-down version of Pig Out weekend? Book the Pig Out Guest Chef Dinner on Friday, May 1 at Sweetgrass (Nk’Mip Cellars).
This one’s built around an interactive, family-style feast: Chef Shawn Cheer teams up with Chef Javier Blanc of Casa Molina and expert butchers to create a seasonal menu focused on local ingredients—paired, of course, with Oliver Osoyoos wines.
Tickets: $129.99 + tax
The Bucket-List One: Half Corked Marathon Weekend
One of Canada’s most celebrated wine-country events returns on Saturday, May 30 with the Half Corked Marathon, a 20km route between the vines with wine stations along the way.
Tickets are extremely limited—organizers recommend watching their social channels (@uncorkthesun) for the last chance ticket releases, including an “OMG” drop expected in March.
Kickoff Party: The Block Party
Half Corked weekend starts with The Block Party on Friday, May 29 at Nostalgia Wines. Open to everyone, it’s a vineyard wander-and-dine experience with tastings from regional vineyards and a multi-course feast enjoyed between the vines.
Tickets: $130 + tax
