On Friday, November 21, the annual Festival of Trees returns to Mission Hill Family Estate for its 9th year, lighting up the estate through January 4, with proceeds benefitting the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, Excellence in Childhood Health Fund. The Childhood Health Fund supports with financial aid in fast-track breakthrough research, equipping hospitals with advanced technologies, and ensuring each child receives the care required to their unique needs.
The entire winery transforms into a sparkling holiday wonderland beginning with the celebratory kick-off event on Friday, November 21. The estate will be aglow for the season with a collection of beautifully decorated trees sponsored by local community partners — each one displaying creativity and holiday spirit across the winery grounds. Mission Hill Family Estate welcomes the community to join in the festive cheer by attending the opening night Festival of Trees Experience or visiting anytime during the festive period from Saturday, November 22 through Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Festival of Trees Event: Friday, November 21, 2025
Take note, early-bird shoppers and can’t-wait holiday decorators: On Friday, November 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., is the first opportunity to wander among the beautifully decorated trees of this season. Gather holiday spirit and inspiration, sip mulled wine and share festive moments with the man in red himself as Santa Tom will make a special appearance for photos with Santa. In addition to the estate’s retail Boutique, the popular holiday market of local artisans returns this year, full of giftable and covetable items from jewelry to pottery. Enjoy some special surprises throughout the evening at this annual community celebration.
Tickets to the opening event are $25 per guest (free admission for children under 5). Advanced tickets are required, and can be purchased here. A portion of ticket proceeds supports the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Festival of Trees Experience: November 22, 2025, through January 4, 2026
Make a family or group visit to the Festival of Trees a cherished tradition of your holiday season. This memorable experience includes a guided tour through the beautifully decorated estate and this year’s creative holiday trees. Each booking also includes a seated tasting of a thoughtfully designed wine flight, paired with seasonal small bites by the estate’s culinary team that celebrate holiday flavours. A portion of ticket proceeds supports BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Tickets are $65 per person, or $35 for members (minors are welcome, with a reduced fee of $30 for non-alcoholic pairings). Prepaid reservations for parties of up to four people can be purchased here (walk-ins accepted, subject to availability).
