Take Flight this Holiday Season with FlyOver Canada’s Soar with Santa Experience

The perennial Christmas favourite features a magical ride across Canada and to the North Pole alongside Santa Claus

From December 8, 2022 to January 3, 2023, celebrate the festive season with the return of FlyOver Canada’s popular holiday flight ride, Soar with Santa. Families and visitors alike get a chance to fly the skies alongside Santa Claus from coast to coast, and onward to the North Pole. The cinematic flight ride experience is also enhanced by festive refreshments and treats in The Flying Whale Café.

Soar with Santa takes off from the eastern shoreline on its epic flight west, soaring over Canada’s iconic destinations. Throughout the journey, riders can keep a close watch for Santa’s runaway elves as he desperately needs them home before Christmas Eve. The flight then veers sharply off course for an enchanting visit to the snow-dusted North Pole.

The Soar with Santa experience lasts approximately 25 minutes, and includes the preshow, the pre-flight briefing in the boarding zone, and eight minutes on the Ultimate Flying Ride.

For an extra magical morning during the holiday season, FlyOver Canada is hosting exclusive weekend breakfasts with Santa, where guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, visits by Santa Claus himself, followed by Soar with Santa. This experience is offered on December 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, 2022.

During its opening week, kids 15 and under can ride free with an adult (one child per each regular-priced adult ticket) from December 8 to 15, 2022. Other specials include a Family Experience Package, which provides a cookie and 50 percent off a souvenir keepsake photo.

FlyOver Canada uses state-of-the-art technology – including special effects such as wind, mist, and scents – to replicate the feeling of flying across the country. The attraction is ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends, and can be gifted as a unique holiday experience.
