Fashion lovers around the world are set to get a fresh glimpse of Dublin this season, as internationally acclaimed designer Jonathan Anderson brings his latest collection to the historic surroundings of Trinity College Dublin. Marking Dior’s first-ever show in Ireland, the event will take place on 4 December 2026.
The event will see Anderson return to the city where his career in fashion began, with Trinity College Dublin’s Old Library providing a spectacular backdrop for the unveiling of Dior’s Fall/Winter 2027 collection.
Born in Derry ~Londonderry in Northern Ireland, Jonathan Anderson has become one of the most influential figures in global fashion. After launching his eponymous label JW Anderson in 2008, he went on to earn widespread international acclaim for his innovative and artistic approach to design. His work has reshaped modern luxury fashion, earning multiple industry awards and leading to high-profile collaborations across fashion, art and popular culture. After transforming Spanish luxury house Loewe during an acclaimed 11-year tenure, Anderson was appointed Creative Director of Dior’s women’s, men’s and haute couture collections in 2025, becoming the first designer since Christian Dior himself to oversee the house’s entire creative output.
His decision to stage a show at Trinity College Dublin shines a spotlight not only on Irish design talent but also on one of the country’s most treasured visitor attractions, offering a striking celebration of Irish creativity, heritage and contemporary culture.
