The holidays are a special time of year and all families have just one wish: to spend it under one roof with their loved ones. At Ronald McDonald House British Columbia and Yukon, we ensure that families who must travel far from home to seek life-saving medical treatment for a child have a place to celebrate the holidays and create lasting memories.
Although this year will look a little different from past holiday seasons, the House will continue to be an uplifting place for families who are away from home during these difficult times. To do this, we depend on support from community groups and generous donors. Here are a few ways that you can support RMH BC families this holiday season.
Donate Online: Give today and help keep a family together uner one roof this holiday season.
Holiday Wish List: We welcome donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts from our wish list.
Virtual Wish List: Donate to gift a family with a special holiday moment or experience from our virtual wish list.
Sponsor a Meal: Provide the gift of sharing a meal together to families at the House. Contact Robert at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Holiday Activity/Baking Kits: Put together holiday-themed activity or baking kits for families and help them to create a fun holiday memory together at the House.
Home for Dinner: Support RMH BC while you celebrate with your family and friends. Make your Holiday dinner a Home for Dinner event and help our families celebrate together. Learn more at rmhbc.ca/home-for-dinner.
Light the House: Sponsor one of 17 trees in the House and provide a family with the gift of decorating a tree together. You can also light up a Community Tree in your workplace, school or home! Learn more at rmhbc.ca/light-the-house.
