Desigual’s second limited-edition Vintage drop pulls mandalas, asymmetric cuts and original archive prints back into circulation. It’s available from today.

After its summer debut in Ibiza, Desigual Vintage is back for a second chapter. The Barcelona brand has gone further into its own history for FW26, returning to 1984, the year it was founded, and reworking some of its most recognisable archive pieces for today.

The brand frames the collection as a road trip, with each piece a stop along the way. It isn’t a literal reissue. Desigual describes it as a way of reconnecting with the values it has always stood for: community, love and freedom, in its usual loud and colourful style.

Mandalas take centre stage

The mandala is the collection’s key motif. It appears in concentric rings across second-skin jersey tops, which have side drawstrings so the wearer can gather and reshape the fabric. Typographic prints are treated as texture, which adds to the graphic feel of the range.

Necklines, sleeves and movement

The silhouettes are built around the neckline and sleeve:

  • Necklines: Deep V-necks come with embroidered trims, alongside asymmetric, off-the-shoulder and one-shoulder constructions.
  • Sleeves: These run from long and fitted to wide kimono cuts, so close-fitting and fluid proportions sit side by side.
  • Skirts and dresses: Pointed handkerchief hems add movement, in lengths from mini to midi. Dresses have knotted details at the bust and flared skirts, updating classic Desigual shapes.

Two unisex pieces

The collection includes two relaxed-fit unisex pieces: a white long-sleeved T-shirt and a charcoal sweatshirt. Both carry the same print from the Desigual archive, an angular collage of red, blue and black shapes across the chest, with illustrated figures running down both sleeves.

Palette and finish

The colours are black, olive green, deep red, navy and white, with touches of ochre and pink. Washed, worn-in finishes run throughout, so the pieces look as though they already have a history of their own.

The collection ends with an olive-green dress featuring an illustrated face and botanical print. It’s a distinctly Desigual piece and sums up the project’s expressive, unconventional spirit.
