When people want their favourite films to come alive, they often visit the movie sets and filming locations. Some films have made the hotels featured in them iconic. Mark Johnson from the hotel booking website H18YC gives the rundown on how much it would cost to stay for a night in the hotels from famous movies.

Home Alone: The Plaza Hotel, New York City, USA

This is featured in movies like “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” The Plaza is an iconic hotel, known for its luxurious accommodations. It’s located near Central Park. The Family Grand Luxe features 2 queen beds, and costs around $1,495.

Ocean’s Eleven: The Bellagio, Las Vegas, USA

Known for its stunning fountains, the Bellagio was famously showcased in the heist film “Ocean’s Eleven.” You can book the Premier Spa with two queen beds for approx. $399 per night. 

Pretty Woman: Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, USA

This hotel was prominently featured in “Pretty Woman.” It served as the primary setting for the romantic story between the main characters. The Signature Two Double Room for 2 adults costs around $1,100, including tax and charges.

Some Like It Hot: Hotel del Coronado, San Diego, USA

Appearing in the classic film “Some Like It Hot,” this historic hotel is known for its picturesque setting and Victorian architecture. You can secure the 1 King Bed with Sofabed Suite and View for approx. $1,275.

Lost In Translation: Park Hyatt, Tokyo, Japan

James Bond Octopussy: Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur, India

This luxurious hotel in India was featured in the James Bond film, “Octopussy.” A Luxury Room with a Garden View will cost around $1,275.

The Hangover: Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, USA

Featured in the comedy film “The Hangover,” this is a luxurious and iconic hotel and casino. It’s widely known for its opulent Roman-themed architecture, and has become a popular destination for fans of the movie. The Augustus Premium Suite starts at $2,099 per night. 

Mark Johnson comments, “If a hotel was featured in your favourite movie, there’s no better way to heighten the experience than to stay overnight and live it for yourself.”

While prices vary throughout the year, by the number of occupants and by room type, the prices will give movie fans an indication of what they can expect to pay for a night in the hotel from their favourite film. The fees displayed mainly refer to bookings in early January 2024.
