As Toronto emerges from winter, the new AIRE Ancient Baths introduces its first seasonal ritual. Set within a remarkably restored Edwardian building, AIRE offers a quiet, immersive counterpoint to the pace of daily life. Guests move through a series of nine thermal baths set beneath original beams and exposed brick, following a self-guided circuit of warm and cold waters designed to encourage physical and mental reset.

“In a city that moves as quickly as Toronto, AIRE provides a space where guests can slow down and disconnect from the outside world,” says Andrea Trillo, Global Marketing Director, AIRE Ancient Baths. “Inside a restored 1912 heritage building, candlelight, water and silence shape the atmosphere. Guests move through a series of baths of different temperatures, allowing the body and mind to settle into a state of deep relaxation.”

A Historic Setting in the Heart of the City

AIRE’s Toronto location is the Spanish wellness brand’s first in Canada and its 10th globally. Set within a restored historic building once home to the Copp Clark Publishing Company, one of Canada’s oldest book publishers, the space retains elements of its industrial past, with soaring ceilings, exposed brick, and expansive timber beams framing a series of candlelit pools and fountains.

Signature elements include:

  • The Palestra Outdoor Bath — an outdoor bath unique to this location, where the experience extends into the open air
  • The Flotarium — a saltwater bath for effortless flotation
  • The Balneum: Thousand Jets Bath — an invigorating hydrotherapy experience
  • Tepidarium, Caldarium, and Frigidarium baths — each revealing a distinct sensation of temperature, texture, and tranquility

Additional features include a dry sauna, vaporium, 12 massage rooms, and two warm marble beds, with the entire environment intentionally intimate and removed from the city’s pace.

As Toronto moves into spring, AIRE offers a natural moment to reset and reconnect, whether to mark Mother’s Day or to embrace the shift in seasons. AIRE Toronto is now open at 510A Front Street West in Portland Commons. Reservations and gifting are available at beaire.com.
