H&M HOME has pulled back the curtain on the complete scope of its collaboration with interior designer Kelly Wearstler, and it’s bigger than anyone expected. Beyond the 29-piece home collection, the partnership now includes an 8-piece ready-to-wear capsule — marking the first time fashion and furniture have shared a single collaboration under the H&M HOME name.

A Collection Built to Furnish a Room, and a Wardrobe

The interiors side of the collaboration leans into Wearstler’s signature: sculptural, tactile, unapologetically bold. Modular furniture sits alongside sculptural décor objects, all designed with reconfiguration and adaptability in mind — a first for the brand, which is introducing furniture into a designer collaboration for the first time. Translating Wearstler’s ambitious forms into shippable, buildable pieces reportedly pushed the two teams to rethink dimensions and production constraints from the ground up.

“We aimed to create a complete collection that could furnish an entire room,” Wearstler said of the project. “It’s about offering inspiring and important pieces that can also become part of our everyday moments.”

That same instinct — objects as daily ritual rather than static decoration — carries through to the capsule’s most surprising addition: clothing.

The Ready-to-Wear Capsule

Six silhouettes make up the eight-piece fashion line, and they read like an extension of the interiors’ mood board rather than a separate project. Strong shoulders and long-line tailoring play off low-slung trousers and denim pooling at the ankle. Outerwear takes center stage with a coated cotton trench featuring a layered leather collar and matching lapel detail, alongside a collarless cropped leather jacket with zip sleeves.

For evening, a sequin skirt and a vase-printed slip dress bring the collection’s most glamorous notes — quite literally carrying the collaboration’s decor motifs onto fabric. A boxy, boyfriend-cut white shirt with shoulder pads offers a wearable everyday anchor, paired with a cropped white cotton tee embroidered with a vase graphic.

It’s a tight edit, but a deliberate one: structured yet relaxed, precise yet effortless, mirroring the push-and-pull between form and freedom that defines the furniture and décor pieces.

Why It Matters

H&M HOME’s Head of Design and Creative, Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, framed the partnership as a chance to put a distinctive point of view in front of a mass audience. “Kelly is a very powerful female designer,” she said. “She’s always had a strong design aesthetic, and she possesses a unique, bold, and confident design language — I tend to say she’s not whispering.” Every piece in the collection, she noted, was designed exclusively for the collaboration and hasn’t been seen before.

For Wearstler, the appeal was the challenge of making her studio’s design language both artisanal and accessible at once — questioning, as she put it, how objects can shape a space by being expressive, tactile, and built to last.
