Hazel, the breakout star and Miss Congeniality of Canada’s Drag Race, is taking her acclaimed Vancouver showcase on the road this fall with HAZE: ILLUSTRATED, a cross-country touring production that promises to bring big-city drag energy to nine cities across the country.
The show draws its DNA from HAZE, Hazel’s weekly residency at Vancouver’s The Junction, which has built a reputation as one of the city’s most electric nights out. For ILLUSTRATED, that same formula — drag, burlesque, dance, and theatrical performance — gets scaled up into a full-length touring production built around themes of artistry, identity, and transformation.
Fresh off her Drag Race run, Hazel is using the momentum to bring a distinctly Canadian queer performance platform to audiences who may not have a drag showcase like HAZE in their own backyard. Expect bold choreography, elaborate costuming, and the kind of show-stopping numbers that made her a standout on the series.

Why It Matters
Beyond the spectacle, HAZE: ILLUSTRATED positions itself as more than a victory-lap tour. It’s framed as a chance to spotlight queer performance and community in cities of every size — from major hubs like Toronto and Montreal to smaller markets like Kamloops and Guelph that don’t always get a stop on a major drag tour.
