Yes, it is true – DKNY, the ready-to-wear more accessible line from Donna Karan which brings in 80 percent of the business just hired two new Creative Directors. Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow aren’t exactly new to the fashion industry. The design duo is known for founding streetwear label, Public School and is now taking the reins at DKNY to bring appeal to the younger generation of designers and consumers.

DKNY has been known to translate the vibe of New York City into the garments and aesthetic of the company and what better way to re-vamp and bring a new younger audience to the company than to hire two of the freshest young designers to steer the brand in a unique way while keeping the DKNY legacy. DKNY will be moving on to this new and exciting chapter for the company and we can’t wait to see what New York raised Osborne and Chow have in mind.

“Our new creative team has a solid platform to re-energize and redefine what authentic New York means for DKNY right now, given today’s world of fast living, extreme innovation and global competition at the highest level,” wrote Caroline Brown, Donna Karan International CEO
