We are excited to announce that Dyson Canada just launched a new range of air purifiers, including the formaldehyde-destroying purifier, Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde. This machine features a solid-state formaldehyde sensing technology, designed to capture ultrafine dust and allergens and destroy formaldehyde.
Additionally, the new Dyson Purifier Cool and Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool now have upgraded features including the whole-machine HEPA H13 standard.
Key Features:
- Destroys Formaldehyde: The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde features a solid-state formaldehyde sensing technology, designed to capture ultrafine dust and allergens and destroy potentially dangerous formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a colourless gas pollutant that can enter indoor air though off-gassing or combustion. Potential sources include particleboard, fibreboard, hardwood plywood paneling, wallpaper, carboard, paper products, permanent press fabrics like drapery, glues, paints, varnishes and floor finishes.
- Whole Machine HEPA H13: All three new purifiers including the Dyson Purifier Cool and Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool, are now whole-machine HEPA H13 standard. Dyson engineers created high pressure seals at critical points so that the machine can capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns such as allergens, bacteria, pollen and mould spores.
- 20% Quieter: As an added benefit, the Dyson Purifier Cool tower is acoustically engineered to be 20% quieter, while still maintaining its high performance.
- Engineered for Real Homes: All Dyson purifiers are engineered for real homes and real spaces. CADR is the current industry standard for testing purifiers, but is an measurement of speed in an unrealistic setting. For more representative testing, Dyson’s POLAR test is based on a larger room size and has more sensors to collect air quality data. This allows for a more holistic view of purification.
