Clear your calendar and whet your appetite: Brewery & the Beast returns to Concord Pacific Place on Sunday, July 27, and is set to be its boldest, juiciest, and most unforgettable feast yet. Returning for its 12th year, the city’s ultimate food and drink festival is turning up the heat with a stacked lineup of more than 60 top culinary talents, ready to fire up the grills and deliver a one-day-only celebration of open-flame cooking, premium beverages, and serious summer vibes.

Fan favourite, South Fire, will be bringing the heat with three whole hogs roasting traditional Argentinian style, while the Yoder Smokers crew will be cooking up a culinary fire storm. For the first time, Good Thief, Bar Bravo, ELEM, Gordon Ramsay Steak and Miso Taco will be showcasing, alongside Elisa, Wildlight Kitchen + Bar, Published on Main, Osteria Savio Volpe, Homer St. Cafe and Bar and Chambar Restaurant, to name a few. The full list of presenters can be viewed at breweryandthebeast.com. All-inclusive drinks are included with admission, with cocktails, craft beer, wine, ciders, seltzers, and a curated mix of zero-proof options available.

2025 will also see the return of long-term sponsors Two Rivers Meats, bringing their legendary dry-aged tomahawk ribeyes, plus an array of treats for main event guests and VIP ticket holders. “Brewery and the Beast, in my opinion, is the best food event around, PERIOD!” says Jason Pleym of Two Rivers Meats. “The hospitality experience and every thoughtful detail is what makes it an amazing event for guests and restaurants.”

Since its inception, Brewery & the Beast has grown from a grassroots celebration of food into Western Canada’s most iconic culinary event; an all-you-can-enjoy experience that has captured the hearts (and stomachs) of food lovers, chefs, and beverage artisans alike. This year promises whole-animal roasts, open-flame artistry, craft beverages, and a curated festival vibe that has become synonymous with the BATB name. The festival continues to maintain its commitment to showcasing and supporting local farms and ranches, and all proteins served at BATB are 100% Canadian and sourced from producers who raise their animals ethically, responsibly and sustainably.

In addition to the fire-kissed dishes and endless pours, the day’s energy will be brought by live bands, guest DJs, and interactive activations including the Vancouver Firefighter Charities, “Mind the Bar” dunk tank and the now legendary “Chicken Bus” brought to you by Rossdown Farms and Ono Event Catering and Private Dining.

“The continued success of the event reflects the passion of our partner chefs and Vancouver’s love for great food and drink,” said Scott Gurney, Director of 17 Black Events (the company behind the event). “We aim to raise the bar every year, and 2025 is no exception, and we look forward to welcoming the city to experience the magic of bringing great food, drink, music, and community together.”
