This season, Christian Louboutin and Highsnobiety hosted a collection presentation at Georges, within the iconic Le Centre Georges Pompidou, the Parisian cultural hub for contemporary art. It was at the top of this building, facing one of the most breathtaking views of Paris, that Christian Louboutin ties in with Highsnobiety to celebrate together, the launch of the Men Spring/Summer2023 collection and preview the newest line: Dune.

Conceived as an immersive experience highlighting a combination of Christian Louboutin and Highsnobiety’s creative universes, guests headed to the rooftop terrace of Le Centre Pompidou, taking tubular escalators built on a red concrete base. Upon arrival, they walked through a futuristic outdoor corridor comprised of red plinths in different heights inspired by the graphic red and black notches soles of the Dune line; on them, a selection of dazzling evening shoes, new styles from the inclusive capsule Our Angels, and leather goods from new Techno CL perforated leather pattern are displayed.

The experience continued late into the evening with a cocktail party and musical performances in the space inspired by the collection’s graphic red soles. The floor to ceiling bay windows were covered with a gradient red filter, the soft haze creating the effect of an all-day sunset over the city of Paris.

Inside the space, a central scenography made of four aluminum panels arranged in a circularshape form a futuristic cocoon showcasing the new hero shoe: the Dune lug sole. Taking inspiration from the Maison’s signature niche displays, the Christian Louboutin and Highsnobiety designed panels served to highlight eight variations of the newest addition to the collection.

After sunset, the party kicked into high gear with a 1-hour live performance by London-based musician CKTRL, best known for his modern sound which mixes classical jazz with electronic musicelements, followed by DJ sets by Emma B, Kim Turnbull and Broodoo Ramses.
