FENDI and Sarah Jessica Parker are back together to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Baguette, presenting an exclusive Capsule inspired by the iconic sequin embroidery version of the bag.
Revealed for the first time on the Baguette 25th Anniversary Show in New York on September 9th, 2022, the Sarah Jessica Parker x FENDI Baguette Capsule Collection embodies the long-lasting relationship between Silvia Venturini Fendi and Sarah Jessica Parker, as well as the versatility and timeless appeal of the Baguette, reinterpreted in this occasion in the actress’s own personal style alongside FENDI’s Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear.
True expression of iconicity and creativity, this limited-edition collection features a unique all-over degradé sequin embroidery version of the Baguette featuring four interchangeable magnetic FF buckles – two outlines and two inlines – adding a special animation to the bag whilst suiting the wearer’s mood and taste.
Available in four different colourways, purple, wasabi, baby pink or soft turquoise blue, the bag has been realized using a special sequin embroidery colouring technique, the Tie-Dye. This artisanal dyeing technique, performed by hand, endows the sequins of the embroidery with hues, applied only in determined sections, that vary from bag to bag, making each piece unique. The result is the special degradé pattern that characterizes this capsule.
The four interchangeable FF Baguette buckles include an outline sculpted in spheres and painted in solid colour matching the bag, as well as an outline incrusted with a zircon stones pavé which also defines one of the inlines.The offer is completed by a marble-looking inline made of stone paste, recalling the hues of the bag.
Making every bag a collector’s item, each limited-edition set featuring the bag and its accessories is presented in a special box with Sarah Jessica Parker’s signature on the outside and the iconic “It’s not a bag, it’s a Baguette” caption on the inside.
