Michael Andrews Bespoke today announces its expansion into bespoke womenswear. Founded in 2006, the company has earned an international reputation for the fit and style of its bespoke menswear – now it aims to do the same for women.
“There’s an acute shortage of well made, custom-fit womenswear in the marketplace,” says Michael Andrews, the company’s founder & CEO. “While men have long enjoyed the benefits of true bespoke tailoring, we’re excited to now offer this same exceptional service to women. The need for exquisitely crafted attire has never been greater.”
Michael and his team spent over two years developing the new women’s range, which includes investment-worthy suits, separates, shirts, formal wear and outerwear.
Fittings are by-appointment at the company’s NoHo flagship, tucked discreetly down a private alley and complete with a fully stocked bar. Clients work one-on-one with an expert stylist who guides them through the process, helping select fit, fabric, and design details that compliment the client’s lifestyle and tastes. The stylist then works with the company’s in-house pattern maker and tailors to realize the client’s vision.
