This multi-purpose balm enriched with over 98% Shea butter helps to nourish, protect and soften dry, skin, lips, and hair. This year, the balm is perfumed with a gourmand and floral scent of Hibiscus. While its refreshing fragrance delights the senses, the colourful, and eye-catching packaging features the hibiscus flower to symbolize the beautiful African scent- the hibiscus sabariffa, and to celebrate the women of Burkina Faso.

100% of profits from the sale of the Solidarity Balm will be donated to the L’OCCITANE Foundation to support NGO’s project that promote women’s leadership in Burkina Faso.

L’OCCITANE has been working in partnership with women’s cooperatives in Burkina Faso for years. In 1980, there were fewer than 100 women. Now there are over 10,000. The brand has long admired the women of Burkina Faso whose skill in making shea butter has been passed down from one generation to the next. Entrepreneurship is a key commitment for L’OCCITANE. Collaborating with the women of Burkina Faso provides an opportunity for the women to own projects and develop innovative ideas to bring to the table.

The solidary balm is available now for $8 CAD at L’Occitane stores nationwide and on loccitane.ca.
